quigleymax2 Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 I forgot to list this win.On 11/26 I bid on a Resort category using the PRICELINE link from this site.I used it in conjunction with the Entertainment Book discount of $10/night off.I first bid was $40 for the south hotel zone, (or $50 when discounted added). Offer was rejected.I added the 4* category for the same zone and raised my offer to $48. Price was accepted.Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $48.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 4Room Subtotal: $192.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $43.36 (USD)Total Room Cost: $235.36 (USD)Last week while at the Westin Diplotmat in Ft. Lauderdale I met a man who worked for this property's owners. He said he and his wife just stayed at the Cancun property in May and he paid $400 a night for the same property... so I almost feel like I'm stealing with the rate I received! Link to comment
