Priceline Hotel: 3* + Monterey (Pacific Grove, Marina) - Rejected

Bidding history was as follows:

3* in Monterey - Pacific Grove $85 rejected

- I started high since I saw that hotels in this area were already expensive

started new bid

Resort in Marina - Seaside $95 rejected

added Monterey - Pacific Grove at $110 rejected

Returned to first bid and had:

3* in Monterey - Pacific Grove + Marina - Seaside @ $128 rejected

I know I could have waited 72 hours and retried the bid, but I caved in early and just used Marriott miles to pay for the hotel instead. If the area was not as expensive or the weekend was different, the dollar amounts would have been an awful strategy with jumps too high. Hopefully this will now serve as a starting point for people who want to try for this weekend.
