GoingtoBoston Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 Made reservations the night before staying at the hotel. I began with a $100 bid on 4* hotels only in the Harbor Front-Aquarium area. Was rejected for that, $110, and $120, adding only other areas that did not have 4* hotels. Was finally accepted at $130 for the Intercontinental Boston. Booking the room on the hotel's website would have cost $279. Very happy with the result and the hotel. Close enough to walk to South Station, North End, and Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall wtihin 15 minutes... Preferably on a day when temperatures are above 20 degrees. Would absolutely stay there again.
