Does priceline always offer the extend option? I am looking to stay in vegas 2/11-2/14, and I dont want to bid 1 night and not get the extend option. Can someone let me know if extending is always offered, or am I risking the length of my stay? thanks!

thereuare Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 The extend your stay is almost always offered (for US properties) BUT just because it's offered doesn't mean that you can extend your stay...Some hotels don't participate in the Extend Your Stay option, and more importantly for the strategy you're trying to invoke, you can only extend the stay for up to the same number of nites as your original purchase. So you can't purchase one nite and then try to extend two or more nites... if your first purchase is for one nite you can only extend for one nite.When you try to extend the stay one of three things will happen:1) your accepted for the additional nite and you now have additional nite(s) at the same property2) PRICELINE will indicate that they can get a room but not at the same price and will tell you the 'new' price for the additional nites... you then have the choice to accept or reject their proposal3) you will be told that there are no rooms available in order to extend your stayPlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll try to assist.
