MrCodeDude Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 This is not a 3.5* quality hotel. Avoid at all costs.Their treatment of Priceline customers is terrible. They haven't renovated one wing of their hotel, which they are, apparently, filling through Priceline bookings. When I went to check-in, they said they only had smoking rooms available. The smoking side of the hotel strongly smells like an ashtray (especially in the halls); it was very apparent that people were fully utilizing their ability to smoke inside this hotel. Was comped parking ($17/day) due to being placed in a smoking room, but for me, that wasn't an option. I checked out literally 15 minutes after checking in.The room itself was decrepit: dated furnishings, out-of-service elevators, a noticeable stain on the bed
yellowdog Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 Thanx for your post!Sorry to read this about the hotel. But great that everything worked out with the replacement winning bid at the Omni.Like you said. PRICELINE doesn't guarantee non smoking hotels so this could be a problem. At least you got half of your stay back. Please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to start future purchases.Yellowdog.
