Tonight we bid on a Dearborn hotel for 4 nights, from 3/5-3/9.

First bid: $40 for a 4* in Dearborn

Second bid: $45 for a 4 or 3.5* in Dearborn

Third bid: $50 for a 4 or 3.5* in Dearborn or Taylor (which does not have 3.5 or 4* hotels, or 3*)

Fourth (successful) bid: $55 for a 4, 3.5, or 3* hotel.

Got the 3* Courtyard by Marriott Dearborn

Total with taxes and fees was less than $260.
