Hotwire Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip South) MGM Grand

Decent Deal I think it may have saved me $3 per MGM Grand website but regardless I love this hotel so its cool. Also i'm not real happy that HOTWIRE discloses AFTER i won that the hotel charges a resort fee of "about" $15 no matter where its booked. I think on MGM's site its $20 per room. :) not cool I was hoping to avoid this fee by booking through Hotwire but oh well.

Glad to hear you're pleased with the hotel. Sorry to hear about the fees, although with HOTWIRE, if you go to the detail page for the listing, there is a box about halfway down that usually says that there will be a fee of "about xx" (it doesn't give the exact amount, but does indicate there will be a fee in that neighborhood.) HOTWIRE and PRICELINE customers do have to pay the same resort fees as regular rate customers, but are still getting a discount on the room.

If you read closely, HOTWIRE should show you the $15 resort fee before you buy. It's on there, but it's not totally obvious
