Priceline Hotel: Need 4-5* on the Strip Aug 12-15

I'm looking for 4 rooms on the strip for my bachelor party. I like the look of the Venitian for $99, but will I get it on Aug 12-15 (Fri to Mon). If not what should I expect to pay.

It doesn't appear that the Venetian is currently available for your date(s) at a reasonable rate.

HOTWIRE has what is believe to be the Aladdin for $120-$130 depending upon your search and that seems like a pretty good deal.

Ideally you would want something cancellable as this is during the summer, a traditionally slow time in Vegs, but since it's for your bachelor party i'm sure you have other planning to do and would like to make sure you get this all settled.

What you do u think of the Aladdin thru HOTWIRE? (please use this link should you book it)

Should I book the Aladin (Hotwire) now, or wait a bit for a better deal.

Rates are currently much higher than i would suspect they'd be, so upon further inspection i learned there is a 52,000 person convention which begins on 8/14 and that is likley driving up rates (with some conventioners arriving the weekend).

However, you can book direct at the Monte Carlo or at the Aladdin's website for only $10 more per nite... i would book either of those as a back-up reservation and then monitor rates as you get closer to your check-in dates in order to try to beat it (either thru Priceline, HOTWIRE, or any other source).
