valencia Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 We stayed here a couple nights in July 2010. It was a fantastic hotel in a great location. We walked to markets, the bus depot for a trip to York, and there were many nice restaurants, beauty salons, etc. nearby as it is off a very central street.Since it is not in sight from the road, we did have to explain to more than one taxi driver exactly how to get into the alleyway that approaches the hotel and plaza it is on. Typical Marriott room with wonderful amenities and comfy beds. No complaints or unusual negative observations. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Bid low to start in this town. We won it at $49 on the first priceline bid! Link to comment
