Priceline Hotel: Looking for 5* (Strip North) 2/18-2/21 Mult. rooms

So, I'm looking for a 5* (Strip North) for 3 nights from 2/18-2/21. I need 4 rooms for our group. I tried bidding for 4 rooms starting at $95 and going up to $115, expecting to land a room at Palazzo, since the going rate had been around $100-$110.

First question, has anybody else had any success on 5* hotels this weekend, either strip North or South? Secondly, if I'm looking for multiple rooms, I didn't see in any bidding suggestions what to do with multiple rooms. Am I more likely to have luck trying the rooms one at a time, or is my 4 rooms at once method normally a successful plan?

I know it's President's Day weekend, but I can still get decent deals on other mid-level mid-strip hotels without having to bid, so I thought I might get lucky. Normally, I have seen the Strip North bids ending up with Palazzo, which is fine with me, and the Strip South ending up at Aria, which also seems like a decent place.

I'm just looking for any advice that others might have for me to help me get a little luckier on my bidding.

Thanks!

I have never done a multiple room purchase at one time, but I did it once in Downtown Orlando there were four different parties bidding separately. Some got really cheap rates like 43 bucks a night + Taxes at the Crowne Plaza and some went all the way up to $55.

Let me know what you get, I will be bidding on the North End as well for the same exact weekend! Just waiting for friends to make up their minds.

OK, last time I posted this, I didn't get any actual suggestions. I'm looking for multiple rooms (4 rooms) for 3 nights from 2/18-2/21. Does anybody have any actual experience in bidding for multiple rooms. Were you more successful in bidding for all rooms at once, or bidding one room at a time. I imagine that it is likely that the accepted price would likely go higher by the 3rd or 4th rooms when using the one room/bid approach, but I have had zero luck going for the 4 rooms at once.

I started at $100 and have gone up all the way to $130 with no luck so far. I'm just wondering now if I shouldn't go to the single room per bid approach, knowing that it is possible that I could end up successfully bidding on only 2 or 3 out of my total 4 desired rooms?

Also, I haven't found any posts for successful bids for that weekend, so I was hoping somebody that won a 5* north bid could share the "going rate". I know it depends on the weekend, and that I've seen successful bids for other weekends go down to $100/night, but I just can't seem to figure out how high I'd have to go for the 2/18-2/21 weekend.

Thanks,

Stephen
