RDU (Raliegh/Durham) --> LHR (London Heathrow)

Bidding several times over several days, but ended up with a pretty good deal, a savings of about $100 per ticket

The original 'rack rate' was $690, and my original bid was $415 to see if I really could get 40% off

That was of course declined, and countered with $627

I countered many times from 500,510,520,530,540,550 and the lowest counter offer I got was $609

As I was beginning to buckly and accept the counter offer, I bidded $588 and it was accepted.

So here are some details.

Going from RDU - LHR it was non-stop on a Boeing 767

From LHR - RDU there was one stop in Chicago O'Hare for 4.5 hours, so that's the only downside on a Boeing 777 and a Boeing 737

Hope this helps anyone who may need the info, this was my first bid on flights that ended with success, but basically ended up saving $100, so pretty good value, also AA will allow you to get miles for priceline purchases.

let me know if you have any questions.
