mbenjamin94 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 I'm new to priceline so would appreciate any help. I will be in New York for a weekend and would like to stay at the W paying upto $150 if possible. Any suggestions? How do I go about making this happen?
AaronJB Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to bid for a specific property when using PRICELINE. For example, if you bid for a 4* in the MTE zone in NYC on PRICELINE, you could possibly get the W, but you could possibly get any of the 4* properties in the zone - there is no way to ensure a specific property.Would you be willing to accept any of the properties in the zone, or are you primarily interested in the W?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
mbenjamin94 Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 I would be willing to accept other properties of a similar standard in that zone
thereuare Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* MTE...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zones...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zones...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zones...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zones...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zones...Bid $130Any questions feel free to ask. If the above falls short just post back and we'll revise to try up to your limit, but i think the above has a shot (to at least be worthwhile trying)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
