ilikechocolatemilk Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Hi,I'm new here and looking for some help. Can anyone suggest a starting bid price for a 5* in the Las Vegas Strip North area? And South? dates are Feb 18-21.(From what I gather, the only reported 5* North strip hotels are Palazzo, Venetian, and Wynn. Only 5* South strip is Aria)Another question: we need two rooms for our trip. However, we need one room from Feb 18-20 and the other from Feb 18-21. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
ilikechocolatemilk Posted January 18, 2011 Author Report Posted January 18, 2011 Also, is it possible to get a 2 queen bed room vs 1 king?
yellowdog Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!(From what I gather, the only reported 5* North strip hotels are Palazzo, Venetian, and Wynn. Only 5* South strip is Aria)The hotels on the list are only the reported ones. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline all the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time. As well, the geographic boundaries of an area are subject to change. You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select. Also, is it possible to get a 2 queen bed room vs 1 king? This is up to the hotel. You can call them after you have a hotel confirmed and talk to them. But many times will the hotel work with you. But you might have to pay for this.Another question: we need two rooms for our trip. However, we need one room from Feb 18-20 and the other from Feb 18-21. Any suggestions? You can do one bid on PRICELINE for two diffrent dates. If you do separate bids is there no guarantee thst you will get the same hotel. I think HOTWIRE is better for situations like this.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
