fsong1169 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Start bidding @ $65 and went all the way up to $95, final bid $105 and get accepted. Not bad. The only bad thing I find out after the fact is the parking fee they charge. $50 per night, ouch!

Zoolantz Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Hi, I want the same hotel for the same dates. But I can't seem to get it even when I offer $105. Did you bid all the way to $95 when you received a counter offer? I didn't even get a counter offer at $105 :) The PRICELINE God does not like me, it seems.
thereuare Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 It's possible there is no longer inventory available for these dates as this price... are you willing to accept any 4* hotel in this zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yes, any 4* is okay. I have added many zones in the city. No luck. Is it because I'm trying to book 7 rooms? What options do I have if I want to stay in the city? 3.5* is okay. But I'm not sure what kind of deal is out there. I am willing to go to $80.One more question, what if I break up my bidding? Say I bid 3 or 4 rooms at a time. Will I end up getting different hotels?
AaronJB Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Please start a new thread for your stay and we would be happy to help. Additionally, breaking up your bidding would not be recommended, as if you bid for half the rooms and then the other half, there is the chance you may wind up with two different hotels.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
fsong1169 Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Posted January 24, 2011 I did not get any counter offer when I bid all the way from 65 to 105. Started with $5 step and then when to $10. Got accepted at $105. I guess 7 rooms can be a bit difficult to book.Good luck
