Empulse Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 First time poster. Thanks a ton for the work you all are doing here. I love it!Me and my best friend are taking our wives to Vegas for Valentines day. We are flying in on Feb 10th and flying out on Feb 13th. I'd like to stay somewhere nice, on the strip. . . but my budget is about $135 a night. . . .My first delima is I have 4 people going total, so I need 2 beds. I've googled this issue and it seems like the cheapest and safest way to work around this is to declare 3 adults so you are assured 2 beds. Any input? I'd of course rather declare 2 adults, as its less and I'm on a tight budget, but I'm afraid I'm going to get stuck with 1 queen! That wouldn't be so great :)I'm currently looking at one that I'm hoping someone can decipher. . . It's misleading because it doesn't exactly match the listing I found on this forum in another thread. My guess is its the Monte Carlo, but I'm sort of thrown off because it has no mention of High Speed Internet. Any input?Las Vegas Strip - South area hotel - 4* -- $118ResortCasinoFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpaAny other advice is appreciated. Thats for taking the time to respond to my first post =)
thereuare Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!A property with this exact amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board... the Monte Carlo is one possibility, so would the Mandalay Bay with the addition of a new 'Resort' icon.Another way to search for this would be 2adults/2children and then just have 2people at the desk during check-in... the other couple, the wives, or the husbands can be gambling or doing something else in the lobby area.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
