Priceline Hotel: Bidding Strategy Vancouver 6-18

Tried to follow strategies listed here but was not successful in obtaining a winning bid. Please provide a strategy for the next window (72 hours?)

Looking for 4* Vancouver, night of June 18th.

Checked Hotwire: 4* at $134, 5* at $140.

Bid on Priceline:

4* Downtown at $70

added Delta at $75

added Langley at $80

added Surrey at $85

Would be willing to go down in quality rather than up too much more in price.

What is your maximum bid for a 3*?

When are you eligible to bid again?

Sorry I did not notice when I could bid again.

I would probably rather get the 3* than go up more for a 4*. Expedia is listing 3* hotels in the $90-$120 and up range.

My maximum would be $90 for a 3* as I could just get it on my own if it did not go through on priceline.

I had just finished bidding priot to my first post. So another 68 hours or so.
