rayrios16
My brother in law bid for this area in New York trying to get the Fairfield Inn as i previously did last year twice with great success. To his surprise, after doing some homework about retail prices in LIC, he put his bid at $50 and got accepted in the first round at this new property. He was happy about this win because reviews for this property are very good and the hotel offers the same standard and amenities as the Fairfield Inn: free continental breakfast, free parking, free internet, close to subway station, great location to Manhattan, etc....The hotel for this stay came up to $126 with taxes. I think that is a GREAT deal for NYC.Thanks. Link to comment
dahammer
Can you please confirm the star rating for this property? I don't believe this property is rated as being 3*.At any rate, this is a very good deal for Long Island City, and its only two blocks to the train station. This is not a very active neighborhood and there are limited dining options nearby, so you may have to dine in Manhattan! :) Link to comment
