canbacon Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I am looking for 2 rooms in NYC for March 17 to March 20. I would like any 3.5* or better in any of the following areas. Central Park South, Midtown West, Madison Square Garden, Times Square theatre district. I would like to pay somewhere around $150 per room. I will definatley use the BB PRICELINE link to book.
thereuare Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! One question before suggesting a strategy... at the 3.5* level in CPS is the Hudson Hotel, which gets ok reviews except for the notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards); would this be an acceptable outcome? Thanks for using the prie.line links on the board to begin your bidding. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
canbacon Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Posted January 13, 2011 If the price was right the Hudson Hotel would be acceptable. However, I would rather pay a little more and get something with larger rooms. That location is great though.

canbacon Posted January 18, 2011 Author Report Posted January 18, 2011 I attempted the bidding process that was suggested using a max bid of $150. I had no luck, so I waited the weekend and tried again on Monday. I used the MTW, MSG, TS and CPS locations with a bid of $155. It was accepted on the first attempt for the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers (2 rooms). I used the BB PRICELINE linkThanks for the advice!!
