So it turns out that 3/17/11-/3/20/11 weekend is pretty popular. I though it had something to do with the NCAA tournament, but maybe it St. Patrick's weekend. Anywho, I bid every Manhattan area except for Upper East/West sides and Hell's Kitchen. Can't get a 4* for $160 (my max bid) in Manhattan during those dates.

Ended up downgrading to 3.5* and went up to $150 as my last bid. Honestly, was going to wait if the $150 bid didn't work. Ended up at the Sheraton Tribeca in SOHO. Pretty excited, cuz like I said, nothing is available that weekend. Close to the subway, shopping and restaurants. Anyone know about this hotel?

My total fare for the 3 night weekend stay is $556.74, while the Priceline rate (w/o bidding) and hotel website rate is $861.54. 35% savings, or a night and one room service order free.

Used your links as well. Thanks

Congrats on your success. :)

Excellent deal for this hotel during a busy period. This is a new property - I believe it opened only a month or two ago.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.

Enjoy your stay.

I love this hotel, it is close to the 1 line and and the A,C,E lines...down the street is close to the banks and shopping, and its a great place if you want to bargain deals to shop. The most quiet times at the hotel is in between 3am and 9am after that it gets pretty loud, but its way better than staying Times Sqr with constant noise and people.

The ride on the subway on the 1 train to Uptown to Times Sqr is about 7 minutes, and A express lines uptown to times square is about 3 minutes. Really really convenient and a great great choice. Oh yes and the restaurant in the hotel breakfast is wonderful, at dinner try the New York strip steak if you acquire the taste of a good steak its worth the price..and its more quality than you'll get anywhere else in the city.

Internet services for all guests receive 45 mins of complimentary internet in the club lounge and its not 45 mins for the entire stay its 45 min each time you log out and log back in, and the wifi is 9.99 for 24 hours in case you want to connect from your room. I love this hotel so much that since Jan 29 I've stayed there 3 times in my frequent rips to NYC. I hope this helps you, enjoy your stay in tribeca. Oh and they allow pets! They are up on the current ADA restrictions and the elevators have secure access, meaning you cant access any floors without your key card. Depending on your room it might seem crammed but it your on in a room facing canal st, on the 11th floor or above you will get a skyline of the NYC and the empire state building.

I hope this helps and enjoy your stay from a fellow guest of the hotel!!!!
