mmichelle Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I used Priceline for the first time and really appreciate all the help on this board.First I tried for a 4* hotel in South Lake Tahoe (CA & NV) for 1/8/11 and bid up to $100 unsuccessfully.I then tried for a 3.5* and bid up to $95 unsuccessfully.Then I bid $80 on a 3* and received a message that I could try again immediately for $100. Instead, I added another region (South Lake Tahoe, NV) and bid $88, which was accepted. The Best Western Timber Cove hotel I received was in the original region (South Lake Tahoe, CA).I am posting this in the Nevada section although the hotel was in California since that seems to be where all the Tahoe properties are posted.
