Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Do you need more than one bed? If so, I would suggest using HOTWIRE, where you can ensure bedding for the amount of people in your party. Using PRICELINE in New York City in an attempt to get a room with two beds is often unsuccessful and highly risky.

Additionally, early Fall - which is often quite nice weather-wise in NYC - is also one of the more expensive times in the city, and $150 (especially $150 including taxes/fees) is likely going to be difficult (and may not be possible.)

Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Hi I am going to new york from september from 26 to october 1st we are 5 persons so I try 3 rooms a midtown 4 stars deal with priceline but I think the bid price of 150 $ per room get me out of the bidding, I need advice, actually I don`t need a 4 stars (Itry 4 stars because read in the forum about great 4 stars deal around 150$) a 3 or 3.5 is ok our budget is limited for hotel matters, Aaron suggest me to try in hotwire but he prices are between 260 and 380 $ per night Do you think I can get something better than this?

While this is usually a very busy time in NYC, this is still a ways away, so I would take the bidding somewhat slowly at this point and work up over time. I do think a 4* is probably unlikely, but a 3.5* may be possible and a 3* should be possible.

Could all 5 people fit in 2 rooms/2 beds? Once you get the hotel you could request a room with two beds, but there would be no guarantee of that.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
