I need to book a hotel for 10 nights, January 29 to February 8. I have been researching this site, but so far I haven

I checked individual days for this stay in Hotwire, and got $85,83,83,84,85,85,85,85,85,85 for a 3*. But when I checked the full 10 day span all at once, I got $88 Marina and $89 Central. I think this suggests there is always some availability at the 3* level, but not necessarily availability at the same hotel for the full 10 days. If tommycat is willing to risk having to move, this might be another split bid situation. Maybe the last 6 days as one bid and the first 4 as another?

And then I went back in to keep an eye out for amenities to see if the hotel changed from day to day, and there was a new kid in town! A 3* 77 Marina for the 29th and 30th. I didn't check other dates, but tommycat might want to pursue this line of research a little more. Clearly a new offering right now, and might serve.

Since it wouldn't be known where the 'split' in availability would be, I would sooner bid for as many nites as possible in the first purchase, so would use the following date combinations:

1/29-2/8

1/30-2/8

1/29-2/7

1/31-2/8

1/29-2/6

2/1-2/8

1/29-2/5

2/2-2/8

1/29-2/4

2/3-2/8

1/29-2/3

... or it's possible that $72 is just a little shy of what is currently needed to be successful for this complete stay, or a subset of it.

Thank you! I wouldn't mind spliting our time into two sections. I tried Priceline (using the PRICELINE link) again tonight and went to $82.00 with no luck. I am going to look into splitting and hotwire tomorrow.

FYI, if you don't want to wait until tomorrow you could bid again immediate as changing the check-in and/or check-out date is considered enough of a change that it's not viewed as a duplicate bid.

This property has not yet been reported to the board... the Aloha Surf and Spa, with fewer amenities than it has previously been reported with is a possibility, but can't say with any degree of certainty since no property has yet been reported with this exact amenity combination.
