chsiang Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 New to Priceline "Name Your Own Price", so just looking for help. I'm looking to get a room from 3/6/11 - 3/10/11 in the Tampa downtown area. I've placed a couple bids at $69 but have been declined. What would be considered a reasonable price to win the room?
thereuare Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!I'm guessing somewhere in the $85-$105 range, but i'd start a bit lower than that and use your re-bid zones in order to slowly increase your bid. Are you familiar with re-bidding... if not see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board. (NOTE: you have FIVE re-bid zones available at the 3.5* level... see if you can identify them)Once you have your re-bid zones identified let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
