Not sure where to go from here. Don't want to go much higher, but still have a couple of bids left. First time bidding on Priceline. Glad I found this board first...tons of great info! THANKS!

Think I might be able to try bidding around the $100 mark again in a day or two with any luck? Might some offers open up, or will it just get worse?

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I haven't looked at the hotel's bbbb presented above, but assuming they're currently available... in addition to (or in lieu of if you don't have an Entertainment Card) you can use GIFTCARD06 for $10 off per nite (up to 5 nites) immediately at check-out... bringing your cost on either of the above to less than you've already bid.

Let us know what you decide to do and/or if we can be of more help.

Should you decide to book the above please begin your purchase using this HOTWIRE link.

Thanks, bbbb and thereuare. The Sheraton Suites via Hotwire is my backup plan; was just hoping to get something like the Westin or Omni via Priceline. Trying to avoid Sheraton Marina if possible since we want to be able to walk/trolley around downtown and not need a car for this one night. (Next 3 nights at Hilton Resort thanks to a relative that works for Hilton and was able to book a friends and family special offer starting 4/22. :))

I do have the Entertainment Book and intend to take advantage of the refund as well as the $10 off you mentioned. But I wouldn't have known about either if it weren't for this site. I'll be sure and use the link if I choose Hotwire, and will continue to use savingsbarn.com for Priceline as suggested in another forum.

Based on your experience, should I go ahead and book the Sheraton Suites on Hotwire, or wait the 72 hrs from yesterday and give my bids on Priceline one more shot? Thanks!

Rates at both the Westin and the Hilton are higher than when we typically see bids accepted at the prices you've been bidding.

I don't have first hand experience with any of these hotels, but it seems to me that your next round of bidding would probaby be getting into at least the $120 level... given the Entertainment Card discount as well as the $10 first time use... the Sherton will likely cost you almost half as much as priceline would for a 4*. For one nite i would probaby take the savings (assuming the Sheraton's location is good for your plans)

Let us know what you decide to do.
