Priceline Hotel: 4* London Hotel in July

I'm looking for a 4* London Hotel in July for less than $100 - What would be the best central area to bid with Priceline? I see the Grand going for about the right price, any other recommendations on bidding?

The Priceline map only has two really far out areas - Wembley and London Dockyards. And both of these have underground and train connections that are pretty good. Using these, one rarely is more than a 1/2 hour from somewhere else. That 8 mile marker on the overall map spans all but Wembley and Dockyards.

If you look at any of the PL detail maps and then zoom in a little, you can see the symbols and names for the underground and train stations. They are pretty much all over.

Kensington often seems to come up as the low cost option. Sometimes Finsbury Islington. But one never really knows.

The more areas you are willing to bid, the better your chances for good price success.

If you want the pros here to give you a bidding strategy, they need a list of the areas you would be willing to accept, your exact dates, and an idea of your budget max.

Also, why not bid all of your acceptable zones, add them strategically and slowly increasing your bids, and let the one with the lowest price be the one to accept your bid?
