Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago North Shore (North Shore) Renaissance

My first bid of $60 was accepted, to my surprise. Perhaps I should have started lower as there are other areas to add that do not have a 4 star option. I was wary of getting the Westin North Shore (which is a 4 star and in the same North Shore area) which would have been a little more out of the way. I needed a place between Lake Forest and Winnetka, so this should work great. I've stayed at the Renaissance before, but it's been a few years.

Very nice deal for this property - there's not much directly around the hotel, but there is always Barnaby's Pizza - not the world's best, but pretty good - across the street. If you need to get between Winnetka and Lake Forest, I do believe that this property has a shuttle that can take you to the Glencoe or Braeside Metra, then you can train to the North (LF) or to the South (Winnetka.)
