Hello everyone!

I am interested in getting the best possible deal for my 5night trip in London in March. My budget is in the region of USD 100-125

As stated in the topic titles, checkin date is 3/3 and checkout date is 8/3, while the main areas of interest are Kensigton and Bayswater and the star rating that I would prefer is 3* or 4*. A couple of years ago I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Kensington(which was excellent), as well as at Thistle Kensigton Gardens.

The following hotwire offers might be interesting, so I would appreciate any assistance:

--> Notting Hill - Bayswater area Hotel - $109 - 3 1/2* - Smoke Free / breakfast / business / Internet access - still getting reviews

--> Kensington - Earls Court area Hotel - $112 - 3 1/2* - Restaurant - 90% recommendation

Also, can anyone recommend any technique to help me book the Holiday Inn Kensington?

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Welcome to BetterBidding!

For the Notting Hill property, i'm going to guess that this is the Nayland Hotel, downgraded from the last time it was reported to the board at the 4* level.

For the Kensington property we have not see anything reported to the board with just a solo Restaurant icon, and there are just too many possibilities to make much of an educated guess for this one.

If you decide to bid for this stay, did you want to first try for a 4* hotel in the Kensington and Bayswater zones up to your limit, then if rejected try for a 3*... or is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?

It seems strange to me as well - perhaps it is a mistake.

That was my thought exactly. Actually, if I had the opportunity to find a good deal on the Holiday Inn Kensigton, I would book it immediately.

By the way, I always click on your links when searching :)

Well, I decided to gamble with PRICELINE (using the links found here) and ended up booking the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum for $93.

I guess that the Administrators should probably move this topic to the appropriate section.

In any case, thanks a lot for your assistance. Keep up the good work :)
