lanrac Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 This Hotel is currently under renovation at check in and is barely functional. We were assigned a room at the back part of the hotel, nothing special, worn out and in need of upkeep. The room had a must odor, the heater blew even mustier air. Closet sized bathrooms. The worst part,,$19 daily self-parking. This can be avoided by parking for free on Back Bay Street directly behind the hotel and actually closer to most rooms than the paid parking. I would NOT stay here again even for the lower price. I have gotten newer, nicer accommodations in Irvine, Laguna Hills, and around the Spectrum. The only good thing was that you could drive 5 minutes to Balboa Island and chill out in the Starbucks on Marine Ave.This place is in severe need of a makeover.
