Priceline Hotel: 4* Atlanta Midtown Hotel Jan 27

I've switched over from London to get a room in Atlanta Midtown for Jan 27 (1 night stopover on my way back from London). Want to go to the Margaret Mitchell House, so midtown is convenient. My bidding history so far: I read where someone got the Palomar for $68 so I started there, then added dead zones:

No luck, so I quit for today. Since I got a 5* in London for $155, I was hoping for much less in Atlanta.

Does anyone know if you get better deals on priceline last minute? I could always make a refundable reservation and try last minute. It's not looking good at the moment.
