MIChessGuy
My bonus cash was expiring today, so I made one bid of $30 plus $10 bonus cash and got the Holiday Inn Maingate to Universal (5905 Kirkman Rd). I am really stoked because it's my understanding that this hotel does not have resort or parking fees. I did use the PRICELINE link from this forum. Details below:Your Offer Price: $30.00 [plus $10 bonus cash, remember]Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 5Subtotal: $150.00Taxes and Fees: $35.90Total Charges*: $185.90Dates of stay: 2/6/11 - 2/11/11I also want to express my appreciation for the thread on Orlando Resort and Parking Fees This pointed me towards the Universal I-Drive North zone, which seems to have fewer hotels that charge those fees.(P.S., please forgive posting errors, looks like I didn't paste the PRICELINE link correctly and the $40 rate and dates of stay got cut off from the topic.
