Hi! I'm new. I'm trying to find the best deal for 1/14-1/15, 1 room for 4 people.

I'd like to stay somewhere around the Mag Mile area, or Gold Coast. I only got 3 results for that.

4.5* MM for $96 with Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center and Internet Access.

90% recomm.

4* MM for $89 with Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center and Internet Access.

90% recomm.

4* NMA Gold Coast for $89 with Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet Access and Spa Services.

90% recomm.

So I opened up and added 3 star and up.

3.5* NMA Gold Coast for $64 with Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, and Internet Access.

95% recomm.

3* MM for $59 with Complimentary Breakfast, Business Center, and Internet Access

85% recomm.

3.5* MM for $88 with Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, and Internet Access.

90% recomm.

I'm most interested in the first 4, if there's a limit. Thanks!

The Mag Mile-Streeterville zone and the NMA-GC-WT zone are really two halves of the same whole; both make up the North Michigan Ave shopping area and the subareas directly next to it.

4.5* MM - Intercontinental

4* MM - could be the Hyatt, Sheraton, Hard Rock or Westin

4* NMA - likely W

3.5* NMA - Possibly Hilton Suites or maybe the Crowne Plaza Avenue.

3* MM - likely the Holiday Inn Cass

3.5* MM - likely the Doubletree.

The 4* NMA Gold Coast(90% recomm.) with Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet Access and Spa Services just went down from 89 to 85. Wondering if I should go with that one.

It's not everyone's cup-of-tea, but you are looking for a trendy/boutique property, I'd suggest the potential W. The 3.5* NMA also seems like quite a nice price, especially for four people.

Thanks, you were right about the price point. $79.34 total for 4 people was very good, and since this is more a place to crash than anything I went with it.

Turned out to be the Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile. Pretty satisfied, considering the price and the 95% recommendation. :)

I really think this was a TERRIFIC deal, and I'm glad to see that it did turn out to be the Hilton. That's a superbly located property, right off Michigan Ave. and the Hancock and Water Tower are right there. Additionally, with four people, the larger suite is a real bonus.

Definitely a fantastic discount off regular rate for this property, but I noted the deal was particularly good given four people - and if you book conventionally at this property (as is the case with many city properties and four adults), I believe an extra person fee of about $50 would have been added on per night, so this becomes an even better deal.
