PissedoffAmerican Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 :) I used pricescam 1 time prior to this experience for a hotel in las vegas and was some what satisfied other than the Trump had no casino. However this experience has left me feeling cheated, lied too and pissed off.I started off bidding on a 4 star hotel in a designated area of New Orleans so I was sure to get a good rate on nice room.Mind u I bid a fair rate of $90 so the would be no problems going back and forth. So pricescam came back with a offer of $99 for the offer. I figured it was probably a $30 - $40 saving and accepted the offer. After recieving the confirmation for the Wyndham Riverfront hotel I was eager to learn of the amenities and proximity to tourist sites but most of all how much I saved. Only to find out on the hotels website I could have booked the same hotel room $21 cheapr than what pricescam had bargained for me. So I called pricescam to politely request an adjustment or credit only to be told by 3 separate representatives that they were unable to confirm the lower rate. This is after I walked Christian, the 3rd representative, thru the hotel website while on the road with my iPhone, only to hear him say at the final step that he could not obtain the rates on the next page of the Wyndham's website to confirm my discovery. What are u f%#king kidding me. I just walked him thru all the steps to get to this point and now he claims he cannot see the rates on his end. Not only was his name not Christian like Hazel before him or Paul before her but they are all liars and could careless about customer service or satisfaction. As I told the American imposters in a call center in another country, it is not about $21 it is a matter of principal. If u are going to advertise discounts on hotels especially 4star and up heavily then back it up but don't rip people off for more money than they would have paid booking it themselves directly from the hotel. Yes I am pissed off and feel cheated by liars and scam artist, Never again Pricescam!
