Bitsillydey Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I'm traveling by car from Salt Lake to Las Vegas, Nevada to see the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on March 6th.Here are the specifics:4 AdultsLeave Friday, March 4th in the amTo return Monday, March 7thAttending Sunday's Sprint Cup RaceLooking for lodging close to the strip all 3 nights/2 roomsWi-Fi, Hairdryer, Coffee, Continental breakfast, pool.Above all, we want it to be clean and not concerned for our safety just being there. I'd like to find under $100, preferably under $75 per night, per room close enough to walk or take cabs to the strip. :)
thereuare Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 How about Ballys or Flamingo for $85/nite? (yeah, $10 more than your ideal budget, but one round trip in a cab to the strip not needed and you're even)What i think is the Riviera is $60/nite and while walkable to the strip, it's somewhat of a looong walk. Also, hotels on the strip won't typically offer a continental breakfast... you'll need to stay off-strip if that is a requirement for this stay.Thoughts on these? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
