TheSpear Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 3/5/11 - 3/6/11 - got it for $55 on PRICELINE with my second bid (yes, I used the PRICELINE link from here!)Overall reviews on this property are ok though not great, but a good value for spring training time.Note that I started at $50 and it was not accepted, but I was offered the "special opportunity" to bid again immediately if I would go up to $65. Instead, I went back to the normal bid form, went up $5, and added Scottsdale which I knew was higher and it was accepted.
thereuare Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you're happy with the results and this property works well for your plans. For future bidding, we don't typically recommend adding zones you 'know' would go for more money as we have often seen acceptances in zones where users thought the bid would be too low. Instead, you did have 'true' re-bid zones which you could have added which would have safely allowed you to bid again inside of the 24 hour lock-out period. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask any questions you may have and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before utilizing them in the future.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
