Priceline Hotel: St Pete's Beach

Looking to bid St. Pete's Beach, Florida. Priceline indicates there is a 3.5 star hotel in that area but I don't see any posted wins for that area at 3.5 stars. Any information would be helpful.

There have been no 3.5* properties reported to the board in this zone... you should always assume that PRICELINE does offer hotels at the star ratings offered, but in some (rare) instances it's believed that some star ratings are selectable even though no hotels at that star level exist.

What are the dates of your stay? What is your expected budget (per nite) for this trip?

Trip is Jan 21st - 24th. I've bid up to $100 in Clearwater Beach and $80 St. Pete's Beach. I would like to keep it under $120/night for a 3.5* or 4*. I would guess they have moved a hotel up or down to the 3.5* star categry which might be fine but I would rather not over bid on St Pete's Beach and end up with a recently upgraded 3* hotel.

Since you're bidding price points for different zones, what exactly is your bidding limit and criteria for each zone (and what is your preference of higher price in your first choice of zone vs. lower price for your second choice of zone)

I do think you have a very good chance of landing a 4* hotel in the St Pete Beach zone for $100 or less, but not sure how you want to play this given you have thus far only bid up to $80 in that zone.
