salazar50 Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 I want a 5 star hotel, for 4 people 2 adults and 2 teenagers..... staying 2 nights..... 5 Star NorthResort, Suite, Casino, fitness, pool(s), Resturant, business Center, high speed internetWhat hotel do you think it is?Update: the price just went down to $217.00Using hotwire, how do I specify that I would want two queen's.... or would I get that automatically because I specified 4 people in a suite?
thereuare Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 You can't specificy 2 queens... including 2adults/2children ensures that you will receive accommodations for 4 people, but bed-type and room configuration are not guaranteed. You could receive a room with only one bed but also a pullout sofabed.. would this be acceptable for your needs? For the property above, if you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all " link on top of the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 This 5* property matches both the Venetian and the Palazzo so either of these would be my best guess for this one. salazar50 Posted December 27, 2010 Author Report Posted December 27, 2010 It was the Venetian... I booked using your links on HOTWIRE...... I called hotel afterward and did not get two queen beds and they cannot guarantee that the suite has a sofa couch.... I found this odd because I did book saying I had 4 adults..... they said that 70% of the rooms had sofa couchs....... any ideas I what I should do?
thereuare Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 The queen bedded rooms at the Venetian are not their 'standard' room and cost more than their standard room (i think it's usually about a $30 price difference)... so odds favor that you'll be given a room with a pullout sofa bed rather than 2 queens.I'm 90% certain you won't have any issues at check-in, but do bring along a printout of your reservation confirmation (where it hopefully shows 2adults/2children) and if you have any problems just show your reservation indicating you booked for quad occupancy. The Venetian is enough of a high class establishment that at that point i'm sure they'll rectify the situation without any fuss, but if you still have a problem, simply call HOTWIRE and explain the situation and they'll immediately call the hotel to handle the situation.Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay.
