The Riviera had automated kiosks that PL and HW customers could use for checkin, avoiding the registration lines. The kiosk asks if you want a room in the Monaco Tower or Monte Carlo Tower, and one King or two Doubles. Riviera has a couple other buildings besides Monaco and Monte Carlo, presumably nicer, and those weren't offered as options.

Room was dated and worn, as expected, but not small or uncomfortable. A bargain at $19.

The cab driver who brought us to the Riviera said to avoid the buffet. "It's one of the worst in Vegas". We didn't try the buffet but walked past at different times of day and there were usually long lines waiting to get in.

$7.84/day Resort fee didn't include internet, which was another $9.95/day.
