Here is a new hotel to add to your hotel list. I would have preferred a Holiday Inn Express instead, as they have micro/fridges in the rooms. Now I'm going to have to see about renting one if the hotel can't supply one as this is a medical trip. :)

Sorry to hear you didn't receive the hotel you were hoping for, but i don't believe the Holiday Inn Express has an onsite restaurant, which would have been a tip-off that this wasn't the Holiday Inn Express.

Hope you still find this full service Holiday Inn to be a good deal for this stay. If the hotel doesn't have a refrigerator available (most will waive any potential fees if the refrigerator is for medical purposes such as medicine and such) you may be able to pick one up fairly inexpensive at Target, Wal-mart, etc, which may actually end up being cheaper then renting one for a week.

Those are good suggestions with the refrigerator. You're probably right about just buying a small one in case the rent is too hefty.

I would call ahead and ask regarding the refrigerator, so you can know in advance. There is a Safeway at 860 N Delaware nearby, and that may be a good option if you need to buy a small cooler. Additionally, there's a Longs Drug Store right near that (it looks as if they're in the same mall) which would be another possibility.
