Hotwire Hotel: HELP ID: Amsterdam Schiphol 4* Hotwire

Used priceline a few days ago and got 4* schiphol and it was NH. DO NOT want that again.

Looking at using HOTWIRE here is what they have:

shuttle, business center, fitness, and restaurant 4* $89

Is that NH?

Perhaps you can share your win with the board so that the information can help others... what if somebody else had won this hotel for the same exact dates but chose not to post their win, their information may have helped you avoid this property for this past stay. :) Please begin to share your wins with the board as you receive them.

Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board.

HOWEVER, here is an idea...

If you change your search to 2adults/2children a new 4* hotel is offered in this zone for $93 with:

Smoke Free, Shuttle, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, Internet, Golf

This property has not yet been identified either, but assuming the NH is not a non-smoking hotel (i don't think it's a non-smoking hotel but you can doublecheck on your own) you should be able to purchase this and be reasonably assured that it's not the NH. If i were to take a guess for this property i think the Crowne Plaza is a decent possibility, but there could be others (such as the Hilton)

As well, this 'new' 4* hotel shows a Tripadvisor rating of 3.5/5.0, whereas the current rating of the NH Schiphol is 3.0/5.0, further support that this new offering shouldn't be the NH Schiphol. This new property is $4 more than the previous offering, but seems like a small price to not receive the hotel you're hoping to avoid.

Thanks for your reply. After doing further research and having stayed at a lot of properties in this area. I think this is the courtyard Marriott because it has the golf. They also charge for their airport shuttle and with that charge it's cheaper to book direct at the Van Der Valk A4 schiphol. I don't think i'm going to risk it this time.

Was about to book this one too. Not sure if it's the marriott courtyard because I called them directly and found out that they do not have a coin operated laundry, contrary to what was listed as one of characteristics from HOTWIRE. Probably not worth risking either if it does turn out to the Courtyard.
