bwg03 Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 Looking for a 4star property downtown with the hopes we get the intercontinental. We just tried at $80. Saw someone was successful at $100. We need two rooms. Budget is $130 each room per night. We are staying one night. January 1-2.Anyone have any better ideas for getting a successful bid??Thanks!Brad

bwg03 Posted December 24, 2010 Author Report Posted December 24, 2010 This is for the downtown location.
thereuare Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 At the moment I don't think $130 has a high probability of success for a 4* hotel, but if you want to give it a try:At the 4* level you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Downtown...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
