Priceline Hotel: 4* Ft Lauderdale (Hollywood) Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa

I was using PRICELINE to bid for a vacation in Ft. Lauderdale, FL between 12/27/10 and 1/3/11. We were looking for a 4* hotel.

First bid was for FLL Beach for $120: Rejected

Added the free rebid zone Coral Springs for $130, which was REJECTED

Added the free rebid zone Airport North for $140, which was REJECTED

Added the free rebid for FLL Airport for $151, which was REJECTED

Added the free rebid for FLL North for $161, which was REJECTED

Then decided to add Hollywood, which has 4* hotels (so not a free rebid zone) and bid slightly lower, $149: Bid was ACCEPTED

I won the Westin Diplomat Resort And Spa, and with the listed rate of over $400 for that time period, I am glad I got the rate I did.
