AaronJB
Bought for friends who were on the road and needed a place to stop. Started at $36. No. $39. Counter to $54. $41. Counter to $57. $43. Another counter. $45. Win.From a technical perspective, with the retail rate at $79, I'm a little surprised that the bid wasn't accepted in the lower $40's. From the perspective of the people who stayed, they have a nice hotel for less than the cost of a Super 8 and they didn't have to handle the booking, so they couldn't have been more pleased. They said it's an older property, but reasonably well-maintained and generally satisfactory/nice. Very nice area, as well - lots of restaurants/shopping, etc.Plus, there's always Doubletree cookies as a bonus. Used the PRICELINE link. Link to comment
