Started with $37 at 3.5* level for 1 zone, PL countered with a request to increase my bid $15, I passed on that and used Anaheim Hills, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, and Seal Beach as free rebid zones, increasing $1 per zone.

I usually try to keep it under $50 a night for the room rate.

Thanks for the advice, I went back in with the same strategy and went for two nights only for $41 in Irvine and Newport Beach zones to start, 1st free rebid I upped to $43 and got Crowne Plaza Irvine
