bmw745ion19s Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I need help identifying a 3* Hotel In Boca Raton FL for 1/1-1/3.The price is $53 and full amenities listed are: Smoke Free, Airport Shuttle, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, & InternetThanks in advance!
AaronJB Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This listing hasn't yet been reported to the board, but my guess is that it may be the Wyndham Garden w/a previously unseen smoke-free icon.Additionally, posting any previous wins would be greatly appreciated, as the information can help others. Thanks. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
bmw745ion19s Posted December 23, 2010 Author Report Posted December 23, 2010 Thanks Aaron!I figured it might be that one. Could it be the Spring Hill Suites, without the suite part reported?at around $125 for both nights I dont think I can go wrong with it
thereuare Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 I don't believe the Springhill Suites has a Restaurant, which if correct, would exclude this from being that property.I agree that the Wyndham looks like a good guess and among the likely candidates, but as you point out, for the price, and a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, and 95% recommended by HOTWIRE users, i don't think you can go too wrong. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. bmw745ion19s Posted December 24, 2010 Author Report Posted December 24, 2010 Hey guys, using the HOTWIRE link i also did the 2 adult 2 kid method but that returned the boca guest suites on a hotel.com deal at $65 a night. If it was a hotel I actually liked I would have paid the difference just to be sure I got a place.I ended up going with the $53 a night deal and it was the Wyndam Garden hotel. Normally the Renaissance or Marriott isnt more then $70 or so a night so I would have picked that but right now they are in the $130 area so i definitely didnt mind trying the Wyndam.Im glad I ended up the way I did and the best rate on Kayak was $132 a night with tax vs $62.xx a night on hotwire! Thanks again for your help, ill be sure to post a review after my stay!Additionally, after i bought i re-searched the same way and again $53 and same amenities showed up however now there is not a 95% recommendation, its a not enough information to say...still the same hotel or not im not sure?Mods: please change my title to reflect the win, and add me to the calandar since I cant seem to figure out how to do it lol
thereuare Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you received a great deal on this property and are looking forward to trying out this hotel. Can't be certain, but my guess is that the new 3* hotel you're seeing in this zone is in fact the same hotel... HOTWIRE often changes the percent recommended slightly from one search to the next, as well as lists it as "still awaiting" on some searches.Thank you for using the HOTWIRE link on the board to begin your purchase as well as sharing your win with the board, helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property.Enjoy your stay. bmw745ion19s Posted February 1, 2011 Author Report Posted February 1, 2011 Got my review up in the review section for this stay as well as the others I had on tripadvisor already. Hope these will be helpful!
