Priceline Hotel: Please advice -- Going to NYC 12/25 to 12/28

Greetings,

I need help setting my bedding strategy for 4* or 3.5* Hotel in NYC from 12/25 to 12/28. My price range is up to $130 (I think this might be hard to achieve, but I am open to try)

I am looking for a good hotel as close as possible to Times Square TS or any major street (safe to walk around). TS or MTE or MTW or ESB or CPS are OK.

Rates aren't too bad for these dates... did you want to try for a 4* first up to your limit and then, if rejected, try for a 3.5*... OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?
