Dropped in on business at the last minute and all the large and boutique 3.5*+ hotels downtown were sold-out. Lucky to find something at the Airport.Hotel is adjacent to the 101 and heavy rain that night equated to no R&R on the last leg of a road trip. :) Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $150.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $150.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $31.84 (USD) Total Room Cost: $181.84 (USD) Purchased through BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Did he/she take a stab in the dark at $150 (and possibly overbid) or work their way up to $150, getting rejected along the way (ie: possibly no overbid). ?????????????? Link to comment

I had made random bids weeks in advance with no luck. Presumed the hoteliers were waiting until after Thanksgiving to commit once they had a better feeling for the Holiday crowd around Union Square which is where the better values are IMHO.
