Priceline Hotel: 4* Ft Lauderdale (Beach) Hyatt Pier 66

Won this back in Jan on PRICELINE using the links from this great site.

Started somewhere around $85 and won for $101.

Beware there are 2 types of hotel rooms. Front desk will always assign you the lanai rooms similar to motel around the tower based on your priceline booking. But don't settle for it and you can do better by negotiating right on the spot for $15-20 more to get into the tower. Thats what we did when they tried to put us in the lanai room, paid our way to get into the tower room with cruise port , Marina and sunset view. Didn't want to start our FL trip on a sour note.

Beach is 10-15 minute walk but they do provide shuttle to the beach. There is a nice pool area and well maintained grounds.
