Priceline Hotel: 4* Dusseldorf (West-Neuss) Maritim Hotel

Offered couple of days starting at $ 52. Rejected + $15 when I offered $57.

Finally accepted at $ 61 (nice price!).

Got the Maritim Hotel Hotel at Maritimplatz 1 Dusseldorf.

When I looked at the website I think we can't stay with 3 adults & 1 child (last year we could when we had the Renaissance hotel in Dusseldorf).

Unfortunately I can't book a second room like you can try to book an additional night for the same price :)

I can book through Listed hotels but for more than double the price. Or try Name your own price and guess....

So total charges are $61 + $ 12.49 = $ 73.49

Very nice deal for this property, and thank you for letting us know about this new PRICELINE property so that we can update the site's priceline hotel list for the state.

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy; if you need to request bedding for a party of four, I would call the hotel, but the hotel may say yes or no.

Another suggestion would be to go to the hotel's website and see the price difference between a 'standard' room for double occupancy and an 'upgraded' room for quad occupancy... then when you call the hotel see if you can pre-purchase an upgrade for the price difference (or simply ask for the upgrade first, then if told 'no' or quoted a price higher than the price difference on their website, 'counter' using the price difference described above)
