Am going to see Rachel Maddow show live - very excited. I looked at map and saw that area #10 (MTE) was in perfect position for 4* near Lexington subway. I had a very extended bidding plan ready to go based on postings on this site. Wow, my first bid was accepted INSTANTLY. I had only looked at the first page of NYC 4* messages and saw $135, but neglected to see successful $105 bids for Grand Hyatt on next page. Regardless, I am ecstatic. This site must literally save people millions of dollars every year. The lowest online rate for the hotel is $259! I want to thank the angels who run this site. :)

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see you're thrilled with the results and looking forward to your trip. This hotel sits virtually on top of Grand Central Station which the 4 train stops at, so this should prove to be very convenient for your plans... nice to see this work out so well for you.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay and the show!

I looked up the star rating for Grand Hyatt and the first 2 sites I went to (one of them Orbitz) has it as a 4* rating, but tripadvisor has it at 3.5. Either way, this is good news for me since I'm open to stayin in MTE at that rating at the same time as you, but for 5 days. Helps me in rethinking my bid strategy. THanks!
