Priceline Hotel: San Juan area resorts

Trying for a resort or 4 star in the San Juan area on priceline. Starting bidding $100 and am upto $141. Any suggestions.... I really didn't want to spend more than 140 and its not taking. I am trying for 2 rooms.

How about lowering your star rating 1/2 star...

HOTWIRE has a 3.5* in San Juan for your dates with Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business for $89/nite. While this property has not yet been reported to the board it does have a very high 95% recommendation from HOTWIRE users and gets high 4.5/5.0 on all the criteria HOTWIRE asks for feedback on. While this may not be the 4* you were seeking from the onset, it is (at least based upon the HOTWIRE information) a decent hotel, and at least $50 per nite cheaper than you're currently able to get for a 4* thru PRICELINE.

Looking at Hotwire 4 star and trying to identify for these dates feb 20th to 23rd

I just rechecked, and the other amenities in addition to the above are

spa services

golf nearby

It also states that The resort has not yet been reviewed

A 4* property with this amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board, but the 3.5* Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino has previously been seen with this amenity combination... my guess is that this property has been upgraded to the 4* level and a likely candidate for the offer above.

please refer to my recent priceline posts and another recent priceline win at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan. It looks like they just put a bunch of rooms up on various dates for well below what you had been bidding. Three different dates have hit for below $100 recently at the Caribe Hilton. If this property interests you, use the PRICELINE link here and retry your bidding, but start lower, maybe in the $85 to 90 range and re-bid up in increments from there.
